Egyptian Meat Shawarma



Egyptian meat shawarma is characterized by the use of Tahini as a main ingredient, in addition to cooking meat in a distinctive way that does not make the spices overwhelm the taste of meat. You will enjoy Egyptian meat shawarma with tahini, onions and tomatoes.



Ingredients

  • Kilo of steaks cut longitudinally. 
  • A quarter cup of vinegar. 
  • Salt and black pepper (at will). 
  • Teaspoon of ground cumin. 
  • Ground cinnamon half teaspoon. 
  • Spoon of shawarma spice. 
  • 6 crushed garlic cloves. 
  • Half a cup of chopped parsley. 
  • A piece of onion cut into slices. 
  • 4 pieces of tomatoes cut in half. 
  • Shurma grinds: half a cup of tahini with 1/4 cup of lemon juice, 2 cloves of crushed garlic and a little salt and half a cup of water, mix them with an electric mixer. 
  • French fries (at will). 
  • Pain (baked bread or Lebanese Arabic bread or tortilla bread).


How to prepare
  1. Mix meat shawarma (vinegar, salt, black pepper, cumin, cinnamon, shawarma spices, mashed garlic) together.
  2.  Add the seasoning to the steaks and leave for two hours or a full night before cooking.
  3. Place the meat in a saucepan. Place in a tray and place in a 200 ° C hot oven for 10 minutes. Add the water to the mixture and leave for half an hour or until the meat becomes tender and becomes soft with water level control to avoid drying completely.
  4.  Prepare the bread, add a layer of tahini mixture, place the Egyptian meat shawarma and add onion slices, tomatoes, parsley and fries.
